Simply enter word or group of words or pattern of letters (e.g. trit dicocc [for Triticum dicoccon], nus-hen [for Chenopodium bonus-henricus]) that describe what you want to search for.

Please, don't use quotation marks [" "], or signs [=, *, +] in your query.

Search topics

You can search for Species (or General Topics) upon following topics: species, country, area, site, space of time, period, culture, (general topic), author/s, year of appearance and keywords from the title.
You can search for Author/s & Bibliography upon following topics: author/s, year of appearance and keywords from the title.

Case sensitivity

The search is case insensitive (e.g. kroll, KROLL or krOLL will find Kroll). Only if you search names containing special characters, the search becomes case sensitive (e.g. only Šoštarić will find Šoštarić).

Special characters

If you search words with special characters:
1. use online-keyboard to type the names (follow the link above the Search box - Special Characters)
or
2. simply type special characters if these are included in your keyboard (latin keyboards)
or
3. just write pattern of letters without special characters (e.g. tari [for Šoštarić]). To avoid searches that would be too general, pattern of letters should contain at least three letters.

Problems: If you see square boxes instead of special characters, check out the following...
